Near enough to new
Where most pads start life. Nothing to do about it except note the figure on the sheet so there is something to compare against next time.
Plenty left
Mechanical
Logbook servicing from $299, brakes, suspension and lift kits. One booking, one drop off, one bill, and your new tyres go on while it is already up on the hoist.
What we do
The mechanical side started because customers kept asking. It is a proper workshop now, run by the same people who have been fitting your tyres for years.
Done to the manufacturer schedule and stamped, so your new car warranty stays intact. You do not have to go back to the dealer to keep it.
From$299
Pads, rotors, fluid and handbrake adjustment. We measure what is left before we quote, and if it will get you to the next service we will say so.
On inspection
Shocks, springs, bushes and the clunks that turn into something expensive if they are left. Loaded work vehicles and tourers sorted properly.
On inspection
Lift, wheels and tyres planned as one job so it clears, sits level and drives straight, with the alignment corrected afterwards instead of left out.
Per vehicle
Computerised four wheel alignment on the same rack we use for the tyre work, with before and after readings.
Ask us
Before the big lap or the run out west. Tyres, brakes, fluids, belts, battery and the van tyres nobody has looked at since last winter.

On pricing
Anything not fixed above depends on the vehicle and what we find. You get the number before we start the work, not after it.
How much is left
There is no legal thickness for a brake pad the way there is for a tyre. So we measure what is actually left, tell you the number, and let you decide. The dashed line is where most manufacturers call it.

Still stopping properly. This is the point where we tell you it has another service in it rather than replacing it today because the car is already on the hoist.
Plan it
2 mm
Past where most manufacturers call it. Leave it much longer and the backing plate finds the rotor, which turns a pad job into a pad and rotor job.

Logbook servicing
The warranty does not fall over if the dealer does not touch the car. As long as the service follows the manufacturer schedule with the right parts and qualified people, it stands. We do exactly that, usually for less.
Manufacturer schedule followed
Serviced to the intervals and specifications the maker set, not to a generic checklist.
Logbook filled in and stamped
The record that keeps the warranty valid and the resale value where it should be.
Quality parts and correct oils
To the grade the manufacturer specifies. This is the part that matters and the part cheap servicing cuts.
New car warranty stays intact
Australian Consumer Law is on your side here. Choosing a qualified independent workshop does not void it.
Worth knowing
Bring the logbook with you if you have it. If it has gone missing we can still service to schedule and give you the record in writing.
How it runs
Four points from the booking to the keys back in your hand, and the phone call in the middle is the one that matters.
Tell us the vehicle, the kilometres and what it is doing. We will book a slot that suits and tell you then whether it is a wait or a drop off.
Usually a few days aheadLeave it with us, or wait in the front room with a coffee if it is a short one. Bring the logbook if you have it, and mention anything the car has been doing that is not on the booking.
Weekdays from 7:45, Saturday from 7:30Anything beyond the quoted job gets a phone call and a price first. If it can safely wait until next service we will say that instead of doing it because the car is already on the hoist.
Before a dollar gets spentLogbook stamped, the work explained in plain English, and an invoice that matches the number we gave you on the phone.
Same day on most servicesStraight answers
The warranty one at the top is the question that costs people the most money when they get it wrong. If yours is not here, ring the yard and ask it.
No. Australian Consumer Law is clear that you can have your car serviced anywhere, as long as it is done to the manufacturer schedule by qualified people, with the right parts, and logged properly. That is how we do every logbook service.
It is our starting price for a standard passenger car service to schedule, including oil and filter, fluid levels, a safety inspection and the logbook stamp. Bigger engines, diesels and some European models cost more, so ring with the make and model and we will give you the real figure.
That is the whole point of having both under one roof. The car goes up once, the tyres go on, the service gets done, the alignment gets checked. One drop off, one bill.
Constantly. Lifted utes, tourers, trays and vans. We would rather plan the lift, the wheels and the tyres together than fix a setup that was bought in three separate places.
Yes. If the pads have another ten thousand kilometres in them we will tell you that and note it for next time, rather than replacing them today because the car is already on the hoist.
Usually a few days, less in a quiet week. If it is something urgent or unsafe, ring us and we will do what we can to fit you in.
Send the rego with the booking and your size is on the shelf before you arrive. The car goes up once, the tyres go on, the service gets done, and there is one bill at the end of it.
